Ilana and I were reading in her Bible Storybook about the birth of Jesus. Then we read a little about his life. We got to the 40 days in the desert and the story mentioned the snake tempting him. She asked if snakes could really talk. I explained that it was symbolic of Satan. That he doesn't have a physical body, just a spirit body.
She asked some more questions and finally said, "Oh, so his spirit goes into the snakes body. Good Grief!"
