Here's pics from our latest outings with some of our favorite kids to explain why we haven't really been around lately.

Disneyland was on the agenda, because you can't say you've visited California if you haven't been to Disneyland... and Shaun would've cried, so off we went!

Here's Matt and Dylan on the carousel:
We went on one of the hottest days of the summer that peaked at around 108 degrees, so once we hit the air-conditioned ride of 'It's a Small World' we went into this coma state, mesmerized by the singing and lulled by the chill in the air. Abbie seemed to enjoy it. The rest of the time we tried to stay hydrated with $17 Disneyland squirt bottles that had a fan on the end. It's painful to think of the price now, but when you're soaked through and you haven't been on a water ride yet it's time for desperate measures. Their favorite ride was at Disney California with the rafting.

Matt just barely made the height requirement and was grinning the entire time.

Last week we got to attend the baptism of Dylan. He asked Shaun to baptize him because 'Shaun's my best friend'. Here's Dylan surrounded by (L to R) his great-grandpa Shippen, Shaun, his great-grandpa Stewart, his grandpa Stewart, and Shaun's dad Scott. We caught a picture of us with all four kids and their mom, Mandy. They enjoyed the rest of the day at Chuck E. Cheese's. That comes pretty close to the ultimate day for an 8-yr.-old.

Our trips to Utah should be slowing down ALOT very soon, but if anyone wants the hotspots of where to stop for their next trip, we've got it all mapped out. Yum... cheese curd.
