What exactly does he do?

For all those times when I've tried to explain exactly what Shaun does - here's a video that is hopefully worth 1,000 words of explanation.  You can catch a glimpse of a busy Shaun (and partner Noel) at a recent Kobe Bryant shoot in this 'making of' video for Nike.  They rented his HD deck which they feed all the taped film through so they can playback the shots immediately and decide if they need to re-shoot it or not.  It was a long day which ended about 2-3am.  Of course, that's just a small part of what he does, but I'll save the other parts for when there's video available for that too.  :)

This week he's at the NAB (National American Broadcasters - I think is what it stands for) Convention in Las Vegas where they are using his HD equipment as display in the booths.  Part of it is at the booth of the group that put it together for him and part of it is at the booth of the group that finds the clients to rent it to.  After that they pack it up and drive to Arizona for the Blue Angels air show there.  This has been a regular job lately that has more to do with the production part of the show (creating the video part) that's also taken them to Texas and the San Diego area lately.  I'm not sure where they'll be next, but he's been having a lot of fun being around the pilots and up close next to the planes.

Not sure what's in store for him next as we're kind of keeping the schedule open for whenever the adoption date is.  We miss him loads when he's on the road, but we gotta do what we gotta do... right?  Thank goodness for family nearby so that I don't feel so on my own.

We'll be submitting an application to Extreme Home Makeovers this next week, so keep us in your prayers that they'll be interested.  Love to you all!
