I'm dreaming of a white....Easter?

This Easter we all got a real surprise. A whole week of snow. All winter we didn't have any snow. It was disappointing to not go sledding or make snowmen.

Easter week we got tons of it. We went sledding every day and made great snowmen. Jack would bring me three different types of shoes trying to find the right ones for snow so I'd take him out in it. He was really funny trying to get into his frog sandbox. Mom was sooo not doing snow and sand!! The kids got baby dinosaurs in their easter baskets. Does a mom know what her kids like or what! No bunnies for us, dinosaurs all the way!!

We did a neighborhood easter egg hunt but had to postpone it a week because there was just too much snow on Easter Sunday. We did it at our little neighborhood playground which was perfect. All the kids just stayed and played afterwards.

It has to be the nicest easter egg hunt we've ever been too. All the kids had plenty of eggs and really tried to help each other. Usually there is an unwritten rule that anything goes. It's smackdown time! I will include a picture from last years hunt so you can see the difference.

Last year: (Jackson would be the one on the
bottom of the star wars easter egg pile up. Funny thing is he didn't even have an egg!)

This year: (The big kids make sure the little
ones all get their share of eggs. Even if
they don't know what to do with it.)
