Apparently a little dirt won't hurt.

Shaun and I went camping with some friends in Utah a couple of weeks ago. The campground was actually only about 15 min. away from where the miners were trapped in Huntington, Utah just recently. It was a really pretty location with a river running past and, of all things, cows meandering through. Unfortunately, where there are cows there are also cow pies, so we ended up chasing them away every time one started coming into camp.

Kayla is the red-headed beauty looking for fish in the river. Abbie and I kept each other entertained by singing the 'Eensie Weensie Spider' song. We were at the part where he was crawling up and the rain washed him out.

Shaun is a little more serious with his entertainment. He taught the older kids how to play 'Citadels'. Dylan (in the yellow sweatshirt) unfailingly figured out which character Shaun was almost every round, so Shaun had a lot of 'lose a turn' rounds.

This is Candy's oldest boy, William, gearing up for his water fight with Matthew. He was REALLY loving the 'get other people wet' part of the water fight, but I don't think he fully realized the side effect of waging such a war. He got very upset at anyone who would dare squirt him. He cracked me up. Matthew was a fearless soldier in the face of a possible drenching.

All in all, a fun trip, especially getting to be around all the cute kids and catching up on old times. I'm putting in an early vote though that next time we go somewhere with showers.
