He's Home!!!!!

He's back! We are so happy to have our Dad home safe and sound. He got back the very end of October.

We decorated the neighborhood with lots of yellow ribbons and red, white and blue anything:)

We lined the main drag on post to cheer as the buses carrying our soldiers drove past. It was late at night but Jack insisted on wearing his Diego sun glasses. Jason was on one of the last buses and we saw him lean forward and wave to us. As I saw him I waved my flag so fast that it flew off the stick! :) We were very excited he was so close. The guys had to go turn in their weapons and be debriefed a little before we could meet them.

All the families met at the gym, waiting very impatiently to see the soldiers march in. We finally chanted "bring them in"! Right at midnight they came in and there were so many on Jason's flight there was no way to figure out who was who. After a very short ceremony they were dismissed. The noise was deafening and Jack had his hands over his ears most of the time. We stood at the top of the bleachers hoping Jason would find us cuz we could not figure out where he was and I didn't want to lose my kids in the crush.

Here are some pics of Jason coming home!!
